About This Role

As a Technical Support Engineer at MetaCorp, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues for our enterprise clients. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a crucial role in maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. This role offers excellent opportunities to enhance your technical skills while working on diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tier 2/3 technical support for software and hardware issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems via phone, email, and remote desktop
Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles
Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve product bugs
Install, configure, and maintain client systems and applications
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues
Train junior support staff and customers on technical procedures
Maintain high customer satisfaction scores while meeting SLA requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
2-4 years of technical support or help desk experience
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems
Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications and hardware
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.)

Nice to Have

IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
ITIL Foundation certification
Experience with remote support tools
